Our Officiant Peter will perform your Wedding Ceremony.

In addition to not have to schedule your ceremony inside the limited time table of the San Francisco Civil Marriage Commissioners: Having Peter as Officiant also brings you the big advantage that you are totally free to choose your wedding location inside the City Hall.

Peter's ceremony also frees you from a tight City schedule and allows a very smooth and easy gliding from picking up your marriage license into the wedding photography, ceremony, and more wedding photography.


Easy Budget Package
We will meet with you in the hallway to the County Clerk's office where you pick-up your marriage license. From there we choose your wedding ceremony location inside the City Hall. 60 - 90 minutes over-all time for wedding ceremony and photography is included, you will get 50 - 60 edited wedding pictures: candid ceremony photos and posed wedding photos at the most beautiful spots the City Hall after the ceremony


Full House Package
We will meet with you in the hallway to the County Clerk's office where you pick-up your marriage license. From there we choose your wedding ceremony location inside the City Hall. 100 - 120 minutes over-all time for wedding ceremony and photography is included, you will get about 120 edited wedding pictures: candid ceremony photos and posed wedding photos throughout the City Hall after the ceremony


In and Out Package
We will meet with you in the hallway to the County Clerk's office where you pick-up your marriage license. From there we choose your wedding ceremony location inside the City Hall. 150 - 180 minutes over-all time for wedding ceremony and photography is included, you will get about 180 edited wedding pictures: candid ceremony photos and plenty posed wedding photos after the ceremony inside and outside the City Hall


Marriage License

The current fee for the marriage license is $107 and is not included in our packages - this fee needs to be paid when you schedule your marriage license appointment directly with the City. Our wedding planner Emily will assist you with this task - your application for the Marriage License needs to be scheduled with the County Clerks Office inside the City Hall.
Please be aware that you must schedule your License appointment before Peter can marry you plus you have to be sharp in time for picking up your license: (scroll down and read the hints for other options!)
Marriage License appointments with the San Francisco City Clerk inside the City Hall are available Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


Time Table:
San Francisco City Hall is open to the Public from Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m.
- this means we can do late afternoon weddings as well, since our officiant Peter is not bound to office hours. However we must schedule your marriage license appointment within County Clerks office hours! Hint: pick-up your marriage license a day or two before, and you are completely free from office tasks on your wedding day. Hint 2: pick-up your marriage license in Alameda - Marin - Napa - Sonoma County: all this County Clerk offices don't require an appointment for a marriage license application, you can just drop in during business hours and apply. Emily will assist you with instructions, planning and preparations.

Late afternoon weddings not only have the advantage of the Golden Hour Light for photography: the later the afternoon the less the tourists and wedding couples inside the City Hall. However be careful when you plan a late afternoon wedding on a Friday: it is possible that some other couple has rented the whole center part including the grand stair case for their big private evening wedding and reception. This means we won't have access to this beautiful part of the City Hall. (private renting of the City Hall is always and on all days possible and the privately rented part will be roped off and be off-limits during the rent time - Friday afternoons are in general the busiest wedding times in the City Hall)


Option:
it costs additional $86 if a couple would prefer to have the City Halls Civil Marriage Commissioner to perform their Ceremony. But think twice before you decide for this option: it not only costs you unnecessary extra money, San Francisco Civil Marriage Commissioners are only available Monday-Friday between 9:00 a.m through 3:30 p.m. and schedule exactly every half hour. Also be aware that it always is the Civil Marriage Commissioner who chooses the spot for your wedding ceremony inside the City Hall - you can ask for a certain spot, but it is the City Commissioner who makes the final decision. (Our officiant Peter always performs the ceremony where you would like it. And Peter also always allows you to bring in own words into your marriage ceremony - a city commissioner never allows!)
